to Celtic Fusion International Musical Arts Festival 2009
Where Music and Memories Meet.
Once again Castlewellan will be centre stage of the musical diversity that is Celtic Fusion during the July holiday period, with a fantastic programme of musical events for you to enjoy. From Wednesday 15 – Sunday 19 July there will be a superb line-up of national and international artists performing in concerts, sessions, outdoor entertainment, drama and much more. The Ulster Fleadh will continue to keep your feet tapping right through from Monday 20 – Sunday 26 July 2009.
Back by popular demand are the ‘up close and personal gigs’ centred mainly in Castlewellan to enable the visitor to locate and capture the atmosphere all in one!
There are a number of free events in this year’s programme which opens up the festival to as many visitors as possible and will surely enable great numbers to enjoy the Traditional Music Session Trail and our ever popular Festival Bar.
So for 2009 we know that Celtic Fusion offers more world-class artistes, combined with several up and coming names from the local Irish music scene and this distinctive and exciting mix promises to deliver a packed programme ‘where music and memories meet’.
