FEATURING - Ulster CCE (Top young Trad act) Cirrus (Donal Lunnys TV band) West Of Galway (US battle of bands winners 2010) At The Racket (High energy Irish Trad)

Ulster CCE kick off a fun filled afternoon with the best of local traditional Irish Music. These young musicians have been selected from Comhaltas braches across Ulster to tour Ireland and beyond showcasing the best of Ulster music, singing and storytelling talent.

Cirrus was formed live on the 2010 TG4 Series, Lorg Lunny. The television audience followed Dónal Lunny's countrywide search for talented young musicians to form a new traditional band. Cirrus have already recorded their first album and although Celtic Fusion is the first festival date for the group, these young stars have all performed across the world and really are the cream of the trad crop.

West Of Galway from Florida are the 2010 winners of the US battle of the (Irish) bands sponsored by The Strangford Lough Brewing Company. Over 20000 votes were cast on this massive internet generated competition and The trad/folk band lifted the honours to win an appearance in this years Celtic Fusion Festival.

At The Racket came together in 1997 and bring an exciting new sound to Irish music today, playing seriously joyous music which will lift hearts and dare the feet to stop dancing. While performing, the band takes its audience on a musical journey, ranging from the sounds of the Golden era of 1920s vaudeville through to the traditional music of today. With John Carty, Brian McGrath, Séamus O'Donnell and Michael McCague on stage, some would say Celtic Fusion 2010 is leaving the best `til last.
