Where Music and Memories Meet
The Celtic Fusion International Musical Arts Festival 2012 comes early to Castlewellan in County Down, Northern Ireland for its eleventh memorable year. Celtic Fusion will take place over the weekend from Friday 29th June until Sunday 1st July and this year the main event is pre-ceded by Celtic Fusion Showcase on 26th May when Dougie McLean makes a welcome return to launch the festival. Featuring Dougie MacLean, Guidewires, Sharon Shannon and top acts from Canada, Castlewellan gets your summer off to a flying start.
For the third successive year, the festival is run by the local community with support from Down District Council and although we encourage everyone to buy a ticket, there is much on offer for free! Traditional music sessions can be enjoyed in Maginns, Mulhollands and Kings Inn.
